Taizhou Qiju Renewable Resources Co., Ltd. was established in August 2019 as a leading company in the plastic waste recycling industry. Currently, it is the largest enterprise in Taizhou for processing waste plastics.
The company covers an area of 100 mu (approximately 16.5 acres) with an investment of 90 million yuan. It owns 35 sets of advanced production equipment and has invested 10 million yuan in environmental protection equipment. The company processes 60,000 tons of waste plastics annually, including 20,000 tons of marine plastic waste such as fishing nets and crab nets, 20,000 tons of agricultural films and mulch films, and 20,000 tons of household plastic waste.
The company is certified with the ISO9001 Quality Management System and ISO14001 Environmental Management System, and has obtained OBP International Certification, GRS Global Recycling Certification, and applied for 15 patents. It has been awarded numerous honors, including “Taizhou’s Advanced Manufacturing Strong Enterprise of 2021,” “Zhejiang Province’s Science and Technology Enterprise,” “Taizhou Science and Technology Enterprise,” and “National High-Tech Enterprise.” Additionally, it serves as a national pilot base for marine plastic waste management under the Taizhou “Blue Recycling” initiative and has been recognized as a “Blue Factory.”
